Peter McGregor is Ojibway and a member of the Whitefish River First Nation. For 25 years, he devoted his life and career to First Nations people in his position at Health Canada, First Nations and Inuit Health. Peter holds a Graduate Diploma in Public Administration and a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and Marketing. He has extensive experience vetting, approving and evaluating funding proposals, managing multi-million dollar budgets, and working collaboratively with First Nations chiefs and band councils, as well as administrative and program staff in four provinces, and also provincial and national counterparts. His forte was initially drug and alcohol addiction programs and policies, evolving to elder care, and community capacity building, and recently First Nations mental wellness transition.
